Grant Speer
Founder & CEO · Security & infrastructure lead
Grant Speer - Founder & CEO, leads security and infrastructure engagements.
Grant founded Adamantine Solutions after more than 23 years of building and securing technology, having held nearly every seat a technology organization has: founder, engineer, systems administrator, engineering manager, head of systems innovation and chief technology officer. Grant's first company, an online community with a global audience, was built and run by a team of 17 under Grant's leadership and defended in production against large-scale botnet and brute-force attacks. Grant went on to lead multimillion-dollar systems for government, university and enterprise clients, to head a systems innovation team formed around Grant at a high-growth Canadian technology company with the scope of a chief information officer, and to serve as chief technology officer of an international technology company through a period of rapid growth across Europe and the United States.
Grant is the person responsible for security at the company and leads its security and infrastructure engagements. That work draws on depth across the whole stack: cloud architecture on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, release pipelines for regulated medical-device software, AI governance and risk review, and the engineering of production agentic AI systems, from multi-agent orchestration and retrieval to models running on edge devices. Grant is an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
For clients, that range means the executive team and the engineering team work with the same person, one who understands both the business risk and the system behind it.
